hollandgirl: Seeing some of the pictures, they say; "I am 58 years old" Really, how come you look 70 plus? Sorry!
Next guy; He is 5/8 we meet and he is 5/2 wow he shrunk must have used water that was too hot. Hey guy you think I would not notice? So I asked how come......? Well I thought once we met you would not care. Maybe so, but now I am asking; What other lies have you told me?
Age is just a number I am 70 years old. Looking for women between 50-60 so the "only a number" was only meant for him. lol
Next; He is ready for a woman. Okay, that sounds good to me. We meet and before he gets out of the car he has to check as he is a diabetic. We walk 200 yards and he tells me that he can't go on. He needs to rest.
Next; Any real honest men left out there, (or I die trying!)
My profile is exactly like me. I didn't paint a great picture of myself and don't get many replies (who cares) I am me. People try to put their best foot foreword when doing this. So they stretch the truth only to hurt them selfs in the end. I on the other hand don't care.
As far as a number goes. It only a wish (IMO) it's not set in stone. You have to accept people for what they are. My profile states I AM LOOKING FOR SOMEONE SMALL, however if some one outside the parameters step up so be it.

Thank you I am having fun in the meantime, (while waiting) While working this morning the cashier told me that her married neighbour is 70 years old goes on dating sites telling he is 39 bet he is having a "ball" Another sick puppy.
Of course he does not show a picture. So all those who are not showing themselves Could be suspect. On the other hand pictures can be fake so..............?

Ok, ok mine are fake. I confess. I'm actually a 21 year old man who really wants to be a middle aged woman.
Although, if a person states I lied about this, then I may well understand it, things not to lie about, your age, your height, if I like the look of you, I will talk to you.
If someone lies then dont trust them ,,,,,, You women are so trusting ,, it is a wounderfull quality but so easily manipulated by bad people. If a person is comfortable with lies then they will be more of them.

mastic55: As far as the diabetic maybe he got nerves , and his sugar diped , I think it was kinda of cold to next him.jmo
You would have had to meet him as it was clear he was much older then what his picture showed. It took me aback at first but thought okay I am here now and lets go for a walk. My heart was no longer in it as it waa clear he had lied big time about his age. I don't understand this as the truth comes out soon enough and then my trust is gone, so yes;

LACali: I hear ya sister. As someone who has actually met online people in person (though not from this site) I feel your pain. I don't know why so many people lie but they do but its usually vanity stuff like age/height/weight. I haven't found that means they will necessarily lie about bigger things. And online is the same as real life in that you have to meet many people to find the few you click with. For some reason people think that being online means you don't have to go through the same process as in real life of meeting and getting to know someone. I think its worth the process because you will end up with some true friends and possibly a great relationship. I know I have on both counts. So, chin up, shoulders back and fight the good fight. And if the poor guy is 8 or 9 inches shorter than his profile, well, maybe you can wear his shirts so its all good.
Yeah love to wear mens shirts. My problem is I am too trusting have been often told this. Naive is the word really. Trusting until it hurts yes and then the disappointment hits me worse.

Latest guy we got on fabulous on IM, phone calls followed emailing etc. I want to meet you Jenny. Great! Noticed several lies over time and not little ones either. Made a big thing in his profile about honesty, loyalty etc. So things did not add up. Told him I had changed my mind about meeting. He told me he would always keep me in high esteem. That was nice to hear, but my trust was gone. Plain and simple. I was disappointed as it had looked very promesing.
All I got so far is 3 scammers and a few lies.I have type 1 diavetes and it doesn't slow me down. I do have complcations from it. When I posted my profile I said I was disabled. Might have changed it to handicap. I had a woman contacted me I told her my complications are and never heard from her again. So I'm stuck Damn if I do or Damn if I don't. But I do believe in being open and honest because if I ever meet someone they will see my co,plications anyway.
Hugz_n_Kissez: I don't know what it is that people don't understand about...if you lie to me before we meet...about anything...then why would I trust anything you had to say from here on in??????How hard is that concept????

Being a diabetic is not the end of the world guy. Personally I would first meet the lady and when you both connect, then tell her. It is better to do it in person. I your profile I would not say disabled, as that conquers up all kind of things. Then you better of saying your a diabetic and say no more at the time. Again, that I find you should tell when you meet in person. If she likes you, she may not mind.
The fellow that did not tell me he was diabetic that was not what bothered me, but the fact he told me he was active but could hardly walk a short distance, plus lying about his age. Have not seen a scammer for a long time now.

Good luck it will happen. Just a matter of time.
You want to find someone small, to me it could mean slim. Just checked your profile and see your 5/6 so you wish to find someone shorter. How about petite sounds nicer. I am petite too and would not like short either. Stick to honesty for me that is the number one thing as I need to trust. I will pay of for you someday.
