The scary thing about Palin is that we never learned anything from Bush. Voting for someone folksy or down-to-earth is the reason we're in this mess.

Of course I've not seen the 1st negative comment from the big 3 stations, MSNBC or CNN regarding Biden when he was nominated. No background "check" of any kind. Nothing about him staying in congress when his wife died and his child care issues? Funny how that works.

I do wonder what the difference would be. All dems are in favor of a carbon tax (gas tax) to slow gas consumption and save the world from fossil fuels. If they don't do that they'll do the windfall profits tax like Carter did. (PSSSSST....the tax is passed along to the consumer....)

Whether or not it was a misstep...what difference does it make either way? We are not talking about a subject that is terribly important. She listed it but did not sell it??? BIG DEAL!
This is just another cheap way to TRY to make her sound evil. Give it up, guys.
Either find something substantially wrong with the woman - or try doing something important like challenging her on the issues? And may the best woman win!
