A soldier was asking God, "God what does a million years mean to you?"

"A million year is like just a second to me"-- replied God.

"What does a billion dollars mean to you"-- the soldier asked again.

"Just a cent!"-- God replied.

"Then give me a billion dollars"-- said the soldier.

God said, "Wait a second".



So the soldier may need to wait a million years before his wish come true.

Ive said this so many times .wonderful poem Daniel.When he gets ready he will grant ur wish.

Daniel I can not share what this poem made me feel. I will say it made my eyes leak. You seem to have the knack of doing that lately.

I read something like this about stress:

Our lives are like parentheses (if that's how you spell 'em!) between bookends......... in the great universality of things something in parentheses doesn't destroy or greatly impact on the rest of a sentence... life goes on with or without us.

When we are 'no more' it either doesn't matter, or we can look back on that 'life' that was part of our ongoing existence and say to ourselves:

'Why on earth did I get stressed? Over what? It was never important enough!'

A aspect of stress is that we only get stressed if we allow ourselves to think we are more important than we actually are!

Wow!

Great poem though, Daniel - I have felt that wau before (apart from being the good soldier bit) but God decides, not us, when our time is up - He may have great things for YOU to do that you have, as yet, no inkling about.....no need to get stressed over it though - enjoy!
