I feel okay about tatts, I have them on both arms both legs both hands my neck chest stomach and foot, I got my first one when I was 13 but most of them were done in prison between the ages of 16 and 30. some of mine mean specific things but all of them serve now to remind me of the places I have been and the changes I have made in my life so even though I am not the angry young man I was when I got them they still serve a purpose....and my daughter thinks they are funny :)

Hey dee its just a little bluebird back in the 80s they were very popular...lol
I think tatts are ok if they have some meaning to them.Back in the day we used the old indian ink and needle.
I have three.I have"love"on the fingers of my left hand,
with a dove between my left thumb and forefinger.
A couple of years back i got a scorpion tattooed on the
back of my neck.It looks cool.
I have 4 tattoo myself only 1 covered during summer but other you can see .. all mine have meaning to them ... i love tattoos and mostly everyone i know has aleast one... even my mummy lol

I didnt get my tattoos until the last few years.
They are part of my story, and a celebration of life. Designed by a friend and tattooed by another friend they are very special to me.

They are both 'tribal' I guess if you wanted a label.
One has a bush rose bloom and the stem, leaves and thorns make a sweeping circle all intertwined. Thats on my hip.. probably about 5inches in diameter. One day I'll add to it and have it go right up my side.
The other one is based on a wrought iron design and is on my lower back and goes part way up my spine. Loads of sweeps and swirls. Took 5 different size needles to do. I love it.
