candio: A scar is just a mark on the outside. It is the person I would be interested in not the wrapping. In order to get to know someone you need to get beyond the wrapping, the outside to see what is in the heart.

I didn't mean to run off. I take care of my mother. Now, yes it's makeup. more information is needed . The length width & depth of the injury. Do you have keloid skin. Is the scar red or is it devoid of color. Forgive me sometimes I mix up letter or leave them out completely because I had a stroke. I was given a dye in a venogram and had a stroke. see we all have scars of some kind. That's life it can make you stronger or pull you down. Honey I don't think your anywhere near a quitter. You just don't know all your options yet. I sent you an email. There are procedures that can diminish the appearsance or at least help you feel more comfortable with yourself. adamisk: i wouldn't know what to think if i met someone without scars. what kind of scars you talking about? i cut myself couse im nuts scars or i got burned putting out a burning orphanage scars.
You made a good point here. If they were like I tried to kill myself or like someone else wrote, a zillion needle scars, then yes, for me it would raise a red flag.
Now if you accept the facts then you have to be ready to deal with the facts. Like if the person tried to kill themselves, You would have to be extra careful around them, what you say or do and yada yada yada and that can be somewhat stressful. And the same with needle scars if they used in the past and now no longer does, you would have to be extra careful

The scar is a constant reminder of pain sometimes. We just have to change the way we look at it and see it as a meaning that we won the battle .

Scar?????????? where????????? I doubt I would date someone with a big knife wound across their face!!. But I have two very large scars. One in the middle of my chest and one long one on my leg, from open heart surgery!! If a person doesn't like them, they are welcome to find someone else. Do I care? No. NEXT!!!

You´ve heard of the game connect the dots...? Well on me you can play connect the scars... most pretty minimal but a large on on my knee from surgeries... one about 10 inches long on the lower abdomen, two knife wounds that were stitched, and several other miscellaneous ones scattered around, old burns, etc.

I think scars, no matter what size or what they look like are wars of life, some have them and some don't. If I am seeing somebody that has a unique one I ask them what happened. why not, I would tell the person why I had one, if I did.

My scar is on my arm and it isn't gross or anything,but i'm sure people look at it and wonder what happend.
For me its an embarrasing scar because someone pushed me threw a window.In a fight that i didn't even start(Like it would be better if i did)
but i had surgery a laprscopy and you can't even see those scars.
So its always in my mind that it looks terrible.Even if it looks a lot better than when it first happend.But i'm useing maderma right now and i works how ever slow it might seem to me.
