arabella: Yesterday, there was a man behind me at the grocery store checkout.
He was buying a bottle of vinegar.
The line was slow and I looked at the bottle and said. "Pickles?"
Suddenly, we were having a conversation about pickles, tomatoes, moose, venison and mincemeat.
And then it was over.
I left, drove away, saw him drive away.
Isn't that kind of like CS and the forums?
We meet briefly, have these conversations like we have known each other for a long time and then "poof".
Gone and never speaking again.
Strange
No, not true!
I've met several CS members with whom I've got pleasantly 'pickled'..... great fun and with real friends one gets pickled not once but several times over several years - one has gotta pick a pickle (or two or three or four.......)
starliteisbrite: Joanie as I was reading I was getting all excited for you,I was thinking you were going to tell us that you where off on a dinner date.
Silly me... ...
If that had happened, you would have known right away.
The planets would have realigned and the earth would have moved!!!

While your still talking to people there's still hope......
Yes I know what your mean about your thread starter post. It's called ships that pass in the night.
Funny but twice in recent weeks I feel as if I was being checked out in the aisles. I always tend to look around to see who they are looking at but when no one is behind me it has to be me!
