Oh I agree wholeheartedly with you Rusty! Money inspires me to work! I mean, I`m always working anyway, but when there is money to be had in return it just makes any old thing more meaningful!

Aa an ex Royal Mint factory line worker I can tell you that making money is not fun, it,s bloody hard work mate,shoving round trollies of dosh only a small aprt of which is mine. No, not fun.
Just read today that a town in Jolly Old England (Lewes) is printing it´s own money.Pound has parity with sterling.Idea is to keep the dosh circulating in the local shops and boost trade.Check Sky News website.

Actually it could be. Many years ago I was told that the Welsh will not use businesses outside of Wales for the same reason, keep the dosh local.

You young ùns need to learn that there is nothing to be scared about with money. Money is merely an entity - like your next door neighbor - show your fear and they think you scared of them and they begin to make your life a misery. Just show your money that you aint scared of it - dont spend it - leave it sitting in a dark vault somewhere - it will soon learn to behave itself and serve you as its meant to!

i hate money with a passion it can have such a negative effect on people..and generate such emotions as greed and dishonesty.....why cant we all live in a commune and exist on the barter system..wouldnt it be much better!!!

I agree with you here. Imagine how people were when they used Cowries as a means of barter? Bet some people got greedy or stole others Cowries?
Money is an Entity and you gotta treat it as such. It is repelled by those who Love it, and attracted to those who Use it.
The Barter system would probably create just as much animosity and lucre does with some folk - imagine how hard you would have to work to have enough to exchange for everything you wanted? And sometimes you would be paid in your own vegetables that were stolen during the night!

On a serious note I have personally found money to make people mean, and quite often the more they,ve got the meaner they are. My wealthy clients are less inclined to pay the rates I demand than their less well off counterparts. Often I ask the wealthy for more and the less wealthy for less.
