Communists have a right to run for political loffice as well as anyone else. I have signed petitions in the past for them to be on the ballot. What the hell...if republicans can run, why not communists?

It sounds like she was a member of The Socialist Workers Party , or similar. It was up to you whether to sign up or not . How does you Country view Communists . Karl Marx was a famous Communist , he wrote the Communist Manifesto . Comminusists believe that the weatlh should be shared out amongts the poeple etcShould I have signed the sheet?

Communism is a politacal ideology , the fair distribution of wealth to the masses. It is anti capatalist , and frowned by all capitalist societies . There is an argumet that Communism as a pure model was never really tried in earnest because it was abused by the leaders . So Capitalist societies point to places like Russia and say that Communism doesn't work, so places like Ireland and America have a Capitalist model. Some would say it works fine ie Parsons , Durkeim , being functionalists . Marx , Weber would say the Capitalisim does not work because the worker in the society is exploited , they being Conflict theorists .
