Speaking of coffee -- Our caraffe broke the other day, so I went to Target yesterday to get a new one. It's just a cheap coffee maker (we only paid 7 bucks for it last summer) but it makes good coffee. Anyway, I got there and discovered that the price of that particular coffeemaker had gone up by 2 1/2 bucks (now $9.49) but then I busted out laughing when I saw that the replacement caraffe (by itself!) cost 50 cents more than the whole damn coffeemaker w/caraffe included!
(The new machine will be cranking out its first pot of coffee momentarily!)
