Could be depression,,,,the real one, have a professional check it out, I did years back and was put on meds. I stopped taking them and feel good now. If it's that deep dark feeling and you think no one would understands get it checked out, it can and will be fixed.

Probably does....just take some time and relax and it should come to you why you feel the way you do...if there isn't anything you can do about it..just try to let it go....

I agree. When traumatic experiences happen, one gets the low feeling after the andrenalin high starts going out of the body. Keep doing your meditation, walks with your dog, drink Chamomile teas, relax and get plenty of rest. Writing your feelings in a log can help for a while, above all, talk to a good supportive friend. If after a few weeks, it still is not reverting to normal, then you may want to see someone who specializes in Post traumatic Stress.
I had to after a very traumatic experience. I am not on medication, but I was for a small while until things were sorted and I got back to normal. Hope this helps, Rahul.
