I think jan/feb is too soon after xmas and given that most people will travel far from where they are, the expense of it right after xmas doesn't appeal to some.

ok well i am from townsville area and usually i dont plan a lot up here cause just before school starting and is usually the wet season most years

Hey Guys count me in!!!! yay! i think Sydney is a good start,central and not too expensive for people to fly at that time of the year, just make sure to try and organize it outside of school holidays?
see what the turn out is like, and if it works then why not look at Brisbane, Melbourne, etc

i am thinking that if we are going for midschool term (flights cheap etc) maybe we should have it on the gold coast or sunshine coast = cant have cs function without sxc but if it in the school holidays then maybe melbourne
