I think it comes down to money.
If you are willing to pay then you have every chance of finding your perfect partner.
Especially a person who is wanting to be Westernised and looking to move countries, the only way of doing that for them is marry a person or get a person with enough cash to get them out.
Why not join a genuine subscription site, that you do not have to question there are plenty of them about, and of course there is always here, which is wonderful, even if you do not meet your down to earth Chinese girl, you may well meet some damn fine people...
