No, but there are different distances to search within for parameters. Those who use broad parameters will find you, and be looking for someone of any distance away from them.
Just be careful. There are a lot of scammers out there. I think there are fewer here than I've run into on the pay sites, but they're still here.

You can also find them, right? Search for people and check out their profiles and send them a flower or an email... If you have a profile and photo they are more likely going to reply. Also, its good to have some friendships and get use to talking with people as well. Sometimes it helps you if you help talk to others... complex, simple, crazy.....
