Hey, I know that feeling. I've run out of "spare parts" to lose!
Glad to see you're back and please, eat the yogurt. Trust me. After losing mine I developed IBS, lactose intolerance and gluten intolerance. You don't want all of that.

Thanks Druidess, I'll be sending my "nurse" out after some yogurt after while.
Gotta' admit that, mostly, I'm looking forward to being able to wash a pickled sausage down with a beer after a long day on the river without ending up doubled over the steering wheel in pain the next day. (A man's gotta' have his priorities straight! )

I am happy it went well. I didn't want to say anything except now I can since it is over, I had to have one operation for that then they had to go back in and re sew, I was bleeding from the inside, now I ask you? say you are laying there in your bed, through with the operation and seven hours later they come in and say "mr.Kansan?" you say "yes" and they say with wheelchair in hand, it is time for your operation. You said "UHH I don't think so I just had one a few hours ago" now you would think this was funny but you are still in that phase.........well that is what happened to me, you are lucky you only had to go once........................oh and think of all the chili you can eat without pain now
Okay, here's the latest: Your thoughts and prayers and well-wishes paid off in grand style this week. Don's gallbladder is gone, he is back to wearing blue jeans (vs. sweatpants), his sense of humor is in RARE form, and I even saw him bend over this morning.
Besides saying "thanks" to all, just wanted to let everybody know how things had progressed.

Hey Pat! The surgery nurse was a real sweetheart, but she can't hold a candle to my own personal "home care nurse!"
...Now if I could just get my hands on the damn mule that kicked me in the belly!
