Not to be rude... but you came to a dating site for objective feedback on your drumming?
You might be setting yourself up for some very superficial answers. If you want objective responses, why don't you ask fellow drummers on a drumming forums. Like I said, I'm not trying to be rude, but by asking people on a dating site, your responses will be tainted. If you sucked, but the lil girls were looking to flirt, they'd say anything to get a rise out of you(no pun). If the guys wanted to annoy you, they could neg your efforts & that isn't very constructive.
I hope the answers you get are polite & fair... but I'd take them with a grain of salt, if I were you. good fortune
You seemed to be very good, but I can't tell unless there's other instruments together with the drums to hear actually how well you are doing. Maybe some of the men can tell you. Good luck
RIGHT! See?! This is what I wanted! I've been playing for a while I'm just picking up things left and right. Not too clear on the terminology. Mama dadas? what the f*ck are those? I probably could if i just took my time. I dont read nor understand music

being able to read notation is important, the terms I used are basic drumming. Anyone with cursory skills can sit behind a kit and run thru rolls, even knock off a 4/4 beat, but there is whole lot more to learn. Accented rolls, flams, metres, tones, triplets and lot more.. and a lot less cymbal crashing
You have some ability but I'm not going to be able to give lessons here. If I were you I would find someone locally who at least knows more than you, and knows about basic paradiddles and mama dadas, accented rolls, just basic stuff. Seriously, learn to read and play off notation, you'll be glad you did.
If you really like banging heads, pick up Billy Cobham's Album with Shabazz on it. Actually any of his albums will blow you away, especially the intricate stuff, its not rock btw, kind of jazz funk ... but a lilttle humility goes a long way.
YES! Thanks guy. I really appreciate that. I am definately gonna check him out. I just discovered triplets a few months ago and have been working on it and it is amazing to hear noises like that come from me. all the subtle and intricate things blow me away
OK, I play all different types of drums...the djembe, bodhran, and Native American drum...but I've certainly seen a lot of drummers in my day (it's the part I dance to the most in a song), and I've dated some drummers.
That said, I have to say that the first one didn't seem to have a solid rhythm, though it made a lot of noise, but the second one (during the bad influenza bout) certainly did and was much better.
You're brave to come on here and ask us for our opinions, and some may be even more qualified to give it than others.

B, I didn't know you were a drummer! Way cool! Hi, everyone!

practice leading left and right handed, starting with either hand, not just with your natural lead hand. In fact its best me thinks to learn almost everything you do starting a roll or beats from your weak side. Left hand first if you're right handed, right first if you're left handed, so that you end up being able to start anything from either side, and it will eventually give your weak side more strength for accents.
You'll also find rudementary 'paradiddles' on youtube.
