"Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday (today) accused Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" because of an association with a former '60s radical, stepping up an effort to portray Obama as unacceptable to American voters".

What a shallow, stupid statement. It's time to put the media gag back on her, before she shoots herself in the foot for the 4th time in almost as many days.

I like McCain, but he made a big mistake trying to seduce the female voters by picking a back-woods, ultra-religious, air-head. Her cutesy accent and canned talking points are getting old fast.

She is a stupid shallow person. Selfish and a liar.

McCain might be a cool guy to have a beer with or trade war stories, but he must not get elected!!!

Well, Republican or Democrat, I am AMERICAN and "I" have the privilege to vote for the candidate of MY choice.

Also, "I" keep my nose out of the politics of another country.dunno

We all have opinions, funny how we get all uppity when another does not agree with our opinions.

Could someone explain to me that of all the people living in the US these two candidates are the best it could come up with?

Canada has an election coming up soon,
It takes only a few month from the announcement until the election.
Why why, does it take sooooo long for the Americans?

confused

People in the U.S. have become sheep, there are none that are willing to stand up and take our country back. Everyone runs on fear but is willing to do nothing about it..

What ever happens in the US, does affect the rest of the world!
That is why we stick our nose in eventhough I stay mostly out of it.
At times like now, I have an honest question, because I do not understand, but like too.

Also, there should be a VERY LARGE tax on any product not manufactured in the U.S.

Naturally, all other countries should tax the things manufactured here and shipped to their countries. No foods should be imported or exported..

Okay no one seems to be too trilled with ending up with two candidates that few seem to care about.
Many don't even want to vote as both seem equaly not suitable to run the US pretty scary I would say.
It is like many are still very undecided.

Once again I agree. If WE would stop worrying about the rest of the world, WE would be in much better shape.

I think a revolution is in order..

Do Americans chose more for the party, than the person itself?

I am not undecided, my vote is not for the man I think to be better to run this country. MY vote is based on TRUST, and yes, I am voting for McCain..

All of us fools can sit around here and post all we want, the outcome, the voice of the people, will be spoken in a month. The only thing we need do beyond that point is accept the results regardless.

I think you'll see a record voter turn-out this time.
And you'll also see many change their party for the fist time. People here have very strong feelings about the two candidates.
