There was no"head of the house." in my marriage. We were equals. We both worked, pooled our money, shared chores and cooking, and each shared in taking care of the kids.

I believe both should be equals. Marriage these days is a partnership since usually both people work, so all else should also be divided equally. I have a boss at work, but I don't want one at home...nor do I want to be one.

I always liked a man taking charge traditional I guess. But I always liked my views viewed and taken into account.
I could manage a couple of million dollar volume stores. Did a very good job of it too.
