I always figured you could call anywhere in the world from a cell. I use prepaid so I pay the exact same amount no matter where in the world I call.

Mine doesn't let me call anywhere that doesn't have the same sequence of area code + phone numbers as we have. I can call the Caribbean too. But I don't know if it costs more.

i was gone 3 wks after 9/11
i have many friends there-i see them when i visit
im just so over it
where i am its a nice 80 ish today

Has anyone called Canada and it didn't cost extra? I don't trust my cell company because the CSRs are in the Philipines and have given me wrong information many times.
