what will be will be Seriously, if all was done in the regular ole normal fashion - slow and steady tends to win the race and respect, from and towards both participants can go a very long way....
I always try to make the ladies very comfortable and I get a passionate kiss as reward for my hard work on the first date. 
I'm not sure there is a rule....perhaps how the date progressed will dictate what kind of kiss would be appropriate

I guess I am old school.......a hug, NO PROBLEMO.....
I just think that kissing is a VERY personal thing....and it should be used wisely....
plus, it just gives a great excuse for dates to come....
anticipation is a great feeling..........
