I am the worst at having patience. I want it yesterday, dang it...or even last week! And don't go the speed limit in front of me, that's still too slow! (The one thing my 3rd ex-husband had right about me was that he said I'd never have patience until I opened up my own practice.
The best...here's a good contradiction...I do have all of the patience in the world for teaching somebody something, at work and at home. Interesting, for I am a very quick learner...yet, I am able to help others who do not learn things so quickly and easily to learn them. I have tutored college English and helped others to bring their grades up by two grades, ie, D to a B or C to an A. I figure out how to teach things in a way that the individual can understand them...something that a teacher of a large group is unable to do.
adamisk: what are you the best at and what are you the worst at?
@ work, both my best and worst is that I put everything into my job. I end up being a fixed piece of the scenery and a necessity, but also stretch my self too thin and have to quit because I can't handle the job any more.
@ home and w/ people. I am the best in the kitchen, cooking up a storm, and am willing to serve everyone. But I am the worst and graciously welcoming company. I really don't like to entertain all that often, and hate unexpected company.
