Why is it when you meet a guy for lunch or what-ever he expects you to be slim, young, and like a model, but, they end up being, real short, hugh stomach and balding. What is wrong with these guys? We older women can't look like we did when we were in our 20's. Why do these guys lie about what they look like but yet they are searching for a young honey. Go figure!! I think they are truly living in a total fantasy world. I'm going to be 62 in a couple of weeks and my friends say I look maybe 50.........excuse me are we chopped liver??? Let's hear from all of you older ladies, what are your views on this?
You look pretty nice to me .From what Iv'e seen on these posts and from the ladies profiles most men want hotties. These men who tell about who their not don't want to lose out on something .I do tell the truth and I think because of that I'm mostly ignored.I'm not saying all men tell an untruth but those that do are giving all us honest guys a bad rep. Most people may not agree with me but isn't a big part of maybe finding that right person is by being honest .Ido put all of it in my profile perhaps you'll check it out and tell me if you like it .Have a good week Like everyone here says it takes time to find the right soulmate .When it does happen you'll know .It may be when you least expect it.It will happen .Chip398

Boy did u ever get it right.I am 67 and people think Iam much younger.I was engaged to a 53 yr old and broke it off in Aug,All he wanted was a financial partner.Hes already married LOL poor woman. But we cant seem to win for losing.Much older tan me arent interested,or arent breathing lol.I hate being alone and have so much to offer, but men cant seem to see that for the age.U indeed look much younger.I dont know what the answer is.

I dunno what it is, but I'm 28 and am constantly getting hit on by guys in their 40s/50s. No one my own age!
Unfortunately, it works both ways. I've never even considered being anything but completely truthful - and thank God I've met the only woman for me (right here on CS!) - yet I met a woman for coffee (about 3 years ago) who had claimed to be "5'8", 135lbs., soft spoken and conservative" and in fact was 5'1", 240lbs., swore loudly and often and openly wished that John Hinckley had "finished the job" on President Reagan." (After 20 minutes I excused myself to go to the men's room and escaped through a side door.)

I'l tell you what......guys are so critical of women.......and when you take a good look at them you ask yourself why do I bother.......they really dont see themselves....they are blinded to all their physical and mental faults......

Who's to bless and who's to blame?
I think it is a matter of two people who meet and just click.
This is why I do not 'date' as such, I would become despondent at having to endure such things.
It will be a person who really blows my skirt up that I meet from here, wherever he lives.
So far that has not happened. Although, I have come across some wonderful people.... Just nobody who turns me on enough for me to want to go and meet them...
I don't have much to contribute but I like your observation. Most men are self centered and think only from their own point of view. Even when he has a stomach like a toad, a head shining like a mirror and he is looking like he just wrestled with the Devil, his ideal date is still Paris Hilton. Maybe he has not look in the mirror for ages or what else can explain his ignorance as to how he really looks.
