when you get angry, really angry how would people describe your display

1. the kettle..watch out they'll blow
2. the boiler..tries to keep it internal, but you know they're simmering
3. the thrower...duck
4. the yeller...loud and out of control
5. vocal...a rant or string of cursing
6 balanced..shows anger then moves on
7 patient..nothing appears to makes them mad, but you can see it in their eyes

and would people say you're quick to anger and get over it, or drag it on longer than needs to be?

I realize people act differently in public (work etc) than at home, but generally. Feel free to throw in anger descriptions I may have missed.

I've been with most of these people at one point or another, but I tend to be #7, and I forgive easily, but don't forget.

l would have to say number 7 for myself also...l tend to get upset not mad, talk about it, maybe walk away for 10 - 15 minutes, think about it and then move on. lf its someone l am in a relationship with l tend to voice my opinion, clear the air and have a few minutes by myself and then come back and wanna make up.

I think that's the healthiest way to go.
Voice your opinion, so they know, and then move on....
I've been with a few men that walk away..so I know they're upset, but don't voice their opinion..how's that make anything better? You have no idea what the problem is...or the opposite..they blow up and don't know when to stop....

thumbs up

Honestly, it is in direct relation to the situation - what has caused me to feel anger and who was involved. I have realized that for me, anger is a result of fear and/or frustration. As I have matured and learned, I more often than not am a #6 - I think more now and decide what/who I am willing to give power to by reacting and how much energy I am willing to expend on any given situation....Sometimes the best display of anger for me is indifference angel

I could be angry, but you would never know
I could also be angry if you cause me harm, but I leave you to time where karma gets back at you.

ok..what if you feel like throwing something...grab a bag of marshmallows...yummm...could totally remove the anger and be fun..of course if the anger's very serious to the other person this may not work well....ok..may make it worse.. never mind
i do think i'll suggest it when a new man pops into my life...think he'd go for it? maybe i better just stick to a very brisk walk..

Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
