lisalee1960: muleguy,what is heavy?

Hi,Lisa!
'Heavy',is a wonderful Scotish beer.
It has more body than the average pint, hence the name,'heavy'.

I was'nt kidding about the haggis, either.I've tried it. Deep fried in batter,it is nicer than it sounds.Yummy!

Was kidding about Rab.C,though.
She need'nt involve herself with him,on my behalf!

laugh

Next time i visit Scotland,i'll have to try one of the famous deep fried mars bars.
Though i've heard they are delicious,i could'nt pluck up the courage, last time.

If I only have a few days in Edinburgh - what would you guys suggest I see and experience there?

Hey Chris - thanks for your reply! You are right - it's getting hot here in Australia. But I am from Chicago and I know all about COLD and SNOW - LOL. And I know about the rain and cold and unpredictable weather of Scotland - my friend lives there and I will be staying with her. I am bringing my waterproofs and warm clothing and I should be toasty and comfortable! Anyway - I am so excited about my trip - I think I will love Scotland!

Take no notice of him - He's bloody jealous anyway since Anglo gave him the heave ho tongue

May I suggest you visit Edinburgh before you leave by your method of choice - Its a wonderful place and take the city tour too as that is so educational.

I want to go there again someday having been there three times so far and watched the Military tattoo.

Best wishes
wine Mike
