I'm shopping health insurance right now and you wouldn't believe all the plans available out there. Yes, HEALTH CARE is very expensive so we do have to pay something for it... but I can insure a family of three with a really good plan for about $250 a month. Sounds like a lot if you've never been really sick or needed it...but you know what??? The first time one of your loved ones comes down with a catastropic illness, THAT'S when your insurance is worth it's weight in gold.

Well, currently I'm paying on COBRA through the company's health insurance plan... $706 a month for the same services. Maybe it's time we DID do away with company-provided benefits.....
