Don't panic, it could be a bleeding ulcer or something similar. It isn't necessarily something terrible. It sounds like you have excellent doctors and they are doing all the right tests. Unfortunately illness is not confined only to the elderly. It would be nice to think we could all be in perfect health until we were in our 80's but that is not the reality. I am sure you will be fine, you have good docs who are taking you seriously and working quickly. Keep your stress to a minimum and get a lot of rest and watch your diet carefully. Keep us updated.

Not worry to much, I have been there. Except for the migrane..
I've had an EGD before, watched them too as part of nursing school. It's not that bad. You're not really conscious during it, don't feel a thing.
My worst nightmare was the Colonoscopy I had to have...and I wasn't conscious during that test either, didn't feel a thing, so it wasn't that bad.
The two Advil aren't good for your ulcer, though. Any Nsaid (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) isn't good for ulcers...they cause them. Ibuprofin (Advil) is an Nsaid.
Good luck...and there are some wonderful herbal remedies available for your migraines that won't hurt your stomach, and won't put you on the hamster wheel of treatment that most of what the allopathic (traditional western) doctors use put you on with migraines.
Email me if you want to know some things that will ease your migraines w/o worse side effects.

I had migraines from early teens to early 30's very often too-really debilitating. Sometimes they lasted 3 days and I couldn't see and vomited with them. I had a doctor who worked with me on diet and I read about relaxation techniques and have been meditating for about 17 years now. I changed my diet, learned to reduce my stress level and to recognize when they were coming on and treat them before they began and also to figure out what was causing each one (sinus pain, stress, fatigue etc.) I had CT scans and MRIs and x-rays and there was nothing organic yet I suffered terribly. Now if I get one per year its a lot. If you find out there is no medical reason for them you can work on getting rid of them

Good for you. And this is why I want to go into Natural Medicine. So many things can be treated this way. Allopathic medicine has its uses, and testing is one of them...but a lot of things can be treated through proper nutrition, meditation and exercise. That's how I deal with fibromyalgia, myofascial pain, IBS, etc...all connected diseases, btw. It helps. When I do have flare-ups, I use herbal treatments for relief.
Btw, soaking your feet in cool water is good for headaches. Shrinks the blood vessels.
