Canadians have the same background as Americans all come from immigrants.
They are not as patriotic as Americans.
They are more laid back.

He had black hair, my mom was blond.

Sort of ... I'm the only redhead, on both sides of my family. There is some Irish on my father's side. I got the red hair from my great grandmother (my dad's grandma), and boy - was my mom surprised!Everyone else (related) has very dark hair, eyes, and skin.
I stick out like a sore thumb, I tell ya. I'm the red sheep of the family ...
