Dknew: What makes a baby want to stand and walk for the 1st time ? I was lucky to be here yesterday to see my 11 month old great neice take her 1st steps without having to hold on to something.
I will always remember the day each of my children were born. When they are givin to you all snug and wrapped up, then they look up at you and give you the first smile of their life. That first smile is priceless. (Even if its just gas!)LOL
Remember the days as children we would sit patiently and watch a caterpillar slowly crawl to nowhere but we watched anyway just in case it did something spectacular?
My eight month old grandson just started walking a few weeks ago. My daughter has been putting up pictures and videos of his first steps, baths, feeding, and etc. so I didn't miss out totally on all of that. So thanks for the internet I am getting to see him growing up. They live in another state so I can only afford to visit a couple times a year.

Don't know...but awesome! I remember when each of my sons took their first steps...and everything else they did for the first time that I got to see.
Babies are wonderful...and so are teenagers (at least mine usually are).
