do dreams tell us stuff? (16)
Ouchhharrison, Arkansas USA10 Threads 176 PostsAbout 5 weeks back I had a dream of being bit on the hand by a snake (copper head) and as I looked at my hand the veins started turning black and running up my arm. For the next few days I was watching out for snakes every where I went but never seen one. I did how ever get a small cut on my big toe and no matter what I did with my toe every day it would get infected and after about 8 days I got blood poisoning in my foot. Did my dream try telling me this was going to happen? what do you all think?

It's possible. Usually dreams don't predict things but tell us things. Like i said it could be possible.

It is a possibility but then that would only be a theory, dreams are actually a part of what goes on in our lives, still haven't figured out the one that I have had for years where I am falling off a bike and I wake up breathing heavy although in my dream the fall is not far from the ground. That is how I calm myself when I wake up is tell myself it would not have been a long fall

I had a dream one time where my father and me were in a Native American burial ground.
My father was wearing a Indian headdress while kneeling beside me. I was standing in front of a totem pole.
The very next day I recieved a letter from my sis-in-law. When I opened the letter inside there was a note saying that I might be interested in seeing a picture. Mind you I never saw that picture before.
The picture showed my father wearing that very same headdress and he was kneeling beside me and I was standing in front of that same totem pole.

Actually it is a very powerful muscle. One which we do not use all of it for some reason.

Some dream books say that when you dream of a snake that you sould be watching out for someone trying to hurt you. The snake in the grass sort of thing!

i do believe dreams try n tell us something,ive had numerous dreams which have come true,ive had one where i dreamt my best friend died of a heart attack,a few days later she took a massive one thankfully she didnt die,ive also dreamt about my father being very ill,he took a near fatal stroke,ive dreamt i lost my tongue when asked questions from a certain person,we fell out n i havent spoken to her in yrs,a lot of other freaky things aswell,so yes i do agree,dreams are msg's from our unconsious mind.

I do believe that some dreams are prophetic, but things don't always happen the way that you dream them because our mind uses symbolism. There are many books on the subject, and each seem to have different interpretations for everything, so I tend to see what happens after I have a very powerful dream. I do believe that most dreams are just our mind trying to sort out the things we are going through while we're asleep. Many times I've woken up with a clear answer to a dilemma I've had, and other times I've had powerful dreams that are just weird and don't seem to mean anything.
Basically, your dream may or may not have had any meaning...only you can figure that one out.
