Got any good old fashioned aussie sayings or meanings ?
One I have heard more than a few times "you got a curtain over the window love heh ?: interpreted....christ ! your not pregnant again are you ?
OR "Town Bike" which is: something everyone can ride

you need to stop talking to come up for air occasionally.

Been around this old world for a while so many of the above came from my grandparents.

mind you, in our family mum's version was "its like a blackfella's left leg, not fair and not right" she also used

In the Navy, petty officers wore a reaked cap, sometimes if you screwed up, they would theaten to give you a baby with a verandah on its hat
