I read the first two trilogies years ago, but now with the third series out, I´ve decided to start at the beginning again. I love Tolken as well. Have you read "Tales of the Otori" by Lian Hearn... amazing stories dealing with Japanese mythology, ninjas and warlords... fantastic series.

On the last few pages of James Michener's "The Source", a 10,000 year history of culture and religion in the area that is now Israel.

Next read is James Michener's, "The Covenant", about South Africa.

I would like to buy Vince Flynn's new book coming out I think today....can't remember the name off the top of my head. He is the new Tom Clancy, in my opinion.

Yes, Ken - they are. But it's hard to keep reading with watering eyes, sometimes. Sad ... sigh
