Only if we can less than a 1000 vote McCain win in 4 of the battle ground states.......I figure with that......every DEM in the country will be seeking a bridge to use.
By the way....was thinking of this earlier today......I know fading back to 2000 and 2004.......
but Jimmie Carter.....has been a monitor on 100s of foreign election. And in both 2000 and 2004 supported the DEM party. Yet when the smoke cleared.....he never filed any formal protest to the procedures or court action done in those elections.
McCain campaign accuses L.A. Times of 'suppressing' Obama video The Times says its promise to a source prevents the paper from posting the video, which shows Barack Obama praising Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi at a 2003 banquet. John McCain's presidential campaign today accused the Los Angeles Times of "intentionally suppressing" a videotape it obtained of a 2003 banquet where then-state Sen. Barack Obama spoke of his friendship with Rashid Khalidi, a leading Palestinian scholar and activist. The Times first reported on the videotape in an April 2008 story about Obama's ties with Palestinians and Jews as he navigated the politics of Chicago.
The report included a detailed description of the tape, but the newspaper did not make the video public.
Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Barack Obama "A major news organization is intentionally suppressing information that could provide a clearer link between Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi," said McCain campaign spokesman Michael Goldfarb. " . . . The election is one week away, and it's unfortunate that the press so obviously favors Barack Obama that this campaign must publicly request that the Los Angeles Times do its job -- make information public."
The Times today issued a statement about its decision not to post the tape.
"The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it," said the newspaper's editor, Russ Stanton. "The Times keeps its promises to sources."
Oddly enough, Bill Ayers was there. (just a guy in the neighborhood, hmmm)

So I don't get it... They received the tape from this confidential source and did what with it???? Bury it? Why would the confidential source give them the tape to begin with?

Indyfella: Obama may have "got" to them.... who knows?
Logistically it just makes no sense unless they are lying through their teeth. Why would someone give them a tape under those conditions? I think they deliberately buried it when it came to them and now they are backtracking and making up the the story after getting caught... Nothing else makes adds up

Go figure, I'm sure Bill was only there to get another book review. I swear this guy gets more and more scarey everyday. I thought the audio recording was pretty bad but this is something people should be able to see and judge for themselves.

True enough. I wonder what's going to come out from those same media outlets when Obama doesn't or can't deliver on all these promises he's making should he win. I can only imagine the crap they have on him right now.

The Taliban rejected a offer to negotiate with joint Pakistani and Afghani over the border incidents. Saying that the offer to negotiation was a deal set up in Wshington, DC. Deal was set up by Betaris, who want to talk to the low and middle level Taliban to reduce the violence.
:-)
Which opens the door for the next evolvement of this.
Joint Afghani and Paskistani military operations in the NW Territories. The Taliban should have taken Bertaris offer of negotiations. They know can be hit with anvil and hammer tactics of the joint countries units. That can chased them deep into either country.
No need to put a 100,000 troops in there if we have joint Afghani and Pakistani operations/units.
And yes......6 months ago.....your truely papered for this very thing.
Indyfella: Obama's asking that all of his "followers" call in on Election Day to help the Obama cause.Ya know, I got to thinking...most of them don't work anyway. They'll be available regardless.
Good point, I'm just wondering if ACORN will be helping them file for their end of year tax check. Heck, some people my be able to register for 73 of them,
Mickey Mouse can get one.... Oooops, sorry, Mickey makes over 250K per year and will probably have to put Minnie Mouse on the streets to make up for the Obama tax plan.

You can bet ACORN will be hauling people to the polls. That's a given.
