Actually...at the risk of getting horribly laughed at and losing some credibility...where I used to live I saw an albino Bigfoot in the woods behind my house...twice.
I never believed in them until I saw one with my own eyes...the first time, staring into my eyes from way downhill. You know the old adage about seeing is believing? Yep.
Believe me or not, I don't care. I wouldn't have believed anyone before that either. I like where I live now...too populated for Bigfoots.
And yes, I expect to be laughed at...but I know what I saw. Nothing else I know of is that tall with white fur, walking on its hind legs.

speaking of the Loch Ness Monster - its a bloody Christian invention isnt it - I only found out yeaterday...........
Im sure I can find other references if asked but this is from wikipedia;
Saint Columba (565) The earliest known report is said to be found in the Life of St. Columba by Adamnan, written sometime during the 7th century. It describes how in 565 Columba saved the life of a Pict, who was being supposedly attacked by the monster. Adamnan describes the event as follows:
"...(He) raised his holy hand, while all the rest, brethren as well as strangers, were stupefied with terror, and, invoking the name of God, formed the saving sign of the cross in the air, and commanded the ferocious monster, saying, "Thou shalt go no further, nor touch the man; go back with all speed." Then at the voice of the saint, the monster was terrified, and fled more quickly than if it had been pulled back with ropes, though it had just got so near to Lugne, as he swam, that there was not more than the length of a spear-staff between the man and the beast. Then the brethren seeing that the monster had gone back, and that their comrade Lugne returned to them in the boat safe and sound, were struck with admiration, and gave glory to God in the blessed man. And even the barbarous heathens, who were present, were forced by the greatness of this miracle, which they had seen, to magnify the God of the Christians".
Many question the reliability of the Life of St. Columba as evidence for the Loch Ness Monster's existence, because it contains tales of other encounters between the Saint and other entities, natural and supernatural, which have no similar tradition building out from them to present-day occurrences. They also argue that the monster encounter occurred on the River Ness, not in the loch. Moreover, there are no other accounts of the Loch Ness monster attacking anyone, as the creature is normally portrayed as even being shy. Finally, they point to the necessity of miraculous events in general in writings of the lives of saints, often involving monstrous beasts unknown to science, and that this tale's setting near Loch Ness may have more to do with where Columba lived than any history of Loch Ness being inhabited by large animals, fearsome or not.

I'm actually not the only one to have seen the albino one in that area. A father and son were in the local park, about 10 miles away through those woods (well within their territory), and also spotted the albino. They're rare, and the color isn't being reported by the investigators in this area in order to keep it as unknown as possible and verify the sightings of him. We presume him to be a young male, for though he's tall for a humanoid, he's actually short by Bigfoot standards...6'8" going by broken branches and the height I saw his eyes at and the other judgment from a distance when I saw him walking along a hillside above me.
My first sighting was at night when I took my dog to her normal pee spot...and saw red eyes staring out of a furry face not too far below me on the hillside. I hated taking her out there at night forever more until I got divorced and moved. I have a friend who investigates Bigfoot sightings, and believes in them without ever seeing one...and wishes he would. I'd trade in a heartbeat and go back to not believing.
I've heard of the hodag, some sort of small dinosaur that managed to survive in the woods, its a loger tail that is mentioned in both West Va and Wisconsin.

We grew up with folklore about ghosts and fairies ect !
My brother told me this story and he said it happened to his best friends !
One evening a group of young guys were playing poker , the four of them were playing away , and suddenly there was a knock at the guy who owned the house front door . It was just gone 12 am , and the lads were wondering who could be knocking at that late hour . So the chap answers the door and a strange man he never saw before stood on the doorstep , he asked to come in and play poker with the guys , being a decent sort the owner said ok , the stranger came it2 the living room , they all resumed the game of poker , it emerged later that all the guys were weary of this stranger and felt uncomfortable at his being there . Nevertheless they carried on , at this the guy was spooking them , they didn't know why , at this time my brothers friend dropped a card and bent down to pick it up, with that he started shouting and looked very frightened , the lads jumped up and in the commotion this man simlpy disappeard , after the owner of the house calmed down somewhat , he explained that when he bent down to pick up the card , he could see the strangers legs ,
only they weren't legs ,
they were cloven feet ,
the devil had called on them that night , they got the fright of their lives , my brother wasn't there but swore that it was a true story !!
In hindsight though I know it was just a ghost story that my brother made up for us !!

Never heard of it personally, but it wouldn't surprise me. Many early Native American tribes believed most of the land located within what is now West Virginia to be cursed by ghosts and strange creatures, and refused to lay claim to some areas. Considering most of us have Native American ancestry, there are tons and tons of stories that have been passed through generations.
TheMichigan Dogman lives in the northern areas of the lower peninsula. The 'Gable Film" supposedly got it on film in the 1970's. I'll look for a recording and post it in the videos.

Well........ We have a couple of real monsters that would scare you to death...... but I think you are asking about the fantasy type....... It is Halloween..... but even these accounts of tragedy, without accountability, would send shivers right up your spine..... the gruesomeness of the crimes unimagineable.....yet they have been seen before.......
I have a secret wish to solve one of those crimes, as it was so heinous, and not too too far from where I grew up........... Every now and then I get the feeling that I am closer than I even know......
