Actually yes...... I do play the piano (but not a help concerning peeling an orange)
The trick is to take anything that can cut through the skin of the orange.... or any other citrus fruit you wish to peel.... of course a pairing knife works great, but i even use the cutout points on my house key...
Penettrate the orange at the point where it was attached to the tree and cut through the orange skin all the way around till you reach the starting point..... then do the same thing again forming quarters with the skin...... do it right, and the peels will peel right off easily, and you wont get any juice on your hands......
I can peel an orange like this in 30 seconds.....
Sometimes its fun to race each other, or partners to see who can peel half a dozen the fastest.... then juice the oranges, and turn the juice into mimosa's (champagne and fresh orange juice)
If you learn, let me know, I lost my orange peel partner awhile ago......

Perfect..... Nails are what you need to peel the skins of each individual orange slice, away from the pulp...... If your patient, and make a bowl of them, you will never enjoy an orange as much.....
