I enjoy Sundays watching movies.
Sometimes I go in the park with Bibi.
Usually, I plan to go to theatre, one of my passion but nobody want to go
with me (my friends do not like theatre, they like shopping and clubbing) so I am not going anymore.

Thanks for the kind thoughts and the hug Guiriman.hug

It's not as bad as it seems though. I often like being by myself. It doesn't make me sad or anything and I live most of my life these days alone and in silence anyway. My kids are grown and all moved away now, so this is just a different kind of life, a change for me, so I just accept it as such, until or unless anything changes. Then I will embrace something different. hug

Depends if I,ve got my son or not. Yesterday did my shopping and cleaning and tidying as usual, then went to see some friends then went home to eat and watch a movie. Watched The Mysteries of the Titanic, the one where they went down to the wreck (12,000 feet!) and took with them two robots which were able to go inside the stricken vessel, right into individual cabins. Amazingly things were still in place, like for example bottles of cologn on a shelf next to a mirror!
Also had to watch Scooby Doo with the hier to all my debts.

Sunday is get up late day, have a shower and go out for breakfast. Watched the local team beat Murcia 5-3 whilst having toast and coffee.
Out to see some friends check in here to see who,s around and then back to to base to eat and watch some tvwith the boy.Goes back at eight, then it,s off home for me to do some ironing and chill.

On my own I just watch loads of movies and get tipsy on Rioja. Practice the guitar and piano, write a little music, try to write a screenplay, plan the week ahead and phone home (the uk). Today it,s pissing down for a change, but when it,s sunny I,ll go to the coast for a run, blow the cobwebs off. Love the theatre, but it,s expensive here. Last thing I went to was Queen the Musical about a year ago. It was in Spanish and they sang "Who Lives Forever" instead of " Who wants to Live Forever".Don,t know why really as the former is just as translatable as the latter.

So a life absolutely full of excess and excitement.laugh

Hi Miro ...... I have not had the luxury of attending Theatre as such ... but in SA I enjoyed going to the Sunday Syphonic Orchestra that used to play in the City Hall .... Sundays were Free Entry days (to try and encourage us Plebians to get a bit of culture?). And I absolutely loved it! .... To sit in the Gallery, listening to the orchestra tuning up, and then the Conductor walked in, took charge, and the show began ..... to sit back, relax, and let that beautiful music just flow over one! Must have worked - cause now I enjoy Classical music - after listening to that live orchestra?wine

Today was very warm and sunny and I was outside in my yard cleaning up, sawing wood for my woodburner.
It was 26 or 27 C in the shade/high seventies F. Darkness falls abruptly though. I have lighting outside but it attracts the flies. Haven't built the screened porch yet! Next year though for sure...

Also preparing to board up my doors and windows, in case I do head for the Southern Hemisphere for the winter. The winters here are very cold and the snow deep.

I've got Bolton v. Man City in the background and before that I half watched an old Belmondo film.

How nice.

Maybe someday, when we all be a happy family on that miracle island of ours, we will have our own theatre and opera. We will afford to bring great artists all over the world to sing or play for us!

Is it healthy to dream like this? No. I always was disappointed when reality didn't fit my dreams.
Smoky, I know how the feeling on letting music into your veines is. I got the habit of going to the opera from my family. My father's uncle was an army general who was an opera fan. He thought me about fine music.
Pity that nowadys none of my friends or aquinted people do not like what I like.
I am so terible unhappy because of this. I am going alone for many times but it is not pleasant at all to do this.

This is also for people on CS, especially men, who are asking me why I am alone...
Because I didn't find a man to like what I do, ok?

Here ...... Sundays are my Free Days! I am Free to do whatever I feel like, with no time schedules. So I get up, and go for an extra long walk/jog to my bench in the forest, then I sit and have conversations with the trees there, then walk/jog back home - shower - drink coffee - chat with family - eat whatever I feel like eating for lunch, study my German lessons, check out CS, have an early night.

Oh yes, on Sundays we do our laundry ... cause the electricity rates are Lowest between 1pm on Sat to 7am Monday. So whoever is around swops loads between washer and dryer.

Ah yes, when we all have our Dream Island, and Sommer organises the entertainment! Of course we must have dreams! ....... How else can they come True? There is something called the "Collective Consciousness" and when enough people have the same thoughts - then it comes true .... SO... Get Dreaming! ..... Never give up your dreams!

Just think ..... if you dont dream, cause you dont think they`ll come true ... then what difference does it make to at least have some dreams? ... Maybe they come true, and maybe they dont .... Its like taking a Lotto ticket - you gotta have a ticket to have a chance!
