Well, the thing that strikes me about this, Lush, is that you need to hear that you weren't guilty of any wrongdoing.
I thus proclaimith you NOT GUILTY OF ANY WRONGDOING!!
This strikes me as a situation where you won't get the closure or reassurance you want from the parties involved - which can be damn frustrating, I know - so you just have to create that closure yourself with the certainty that you have done nothing wrong.
