DragonLee: no i wish i was

I have always discussed my childs birthday with their mother, and go 50/50 with her, I just assumed that that was what all parents did, the fact that they get a joint present from the two of us shows we are still their mum and dad, whatever our living circumstances might be.

Awesome of the two of you. thumbs up It's nice to see it when two parents can remember that the child's needs come first.

I do my best, but their dad does not.

venere08: That's pretty low. The lowest of the low. Poor little guy. Sounds like your son's mother is of a similar mould as my sister in law. For my 50th birthday, she bought me a book on menopause

MysticalUnicorn: Not mean....... as clearly she got him somethin else she don't want to say, and he shouldn't be asking.

I think i'm going to agree with this answer....

Its the kind of answer i give my own girls, when in fact the presents I buy for them easily costs me a week's worth of work (they're teenagers)...however they are used to these kinds of answers and it is taken in stride...grin laugh
