If someone can explain to me..

why others misfortune excites them...makes them happy...

Why others cant just lend a helping hand..

or just sit and listen to them..

Why oh Why do so many people complain what others dont have...

I hope in hell i never have to get a hand out..

I lend a hand whenever I can. I've been burned doing so, but I'll do it anyway when I can. I don't understand how others can be like that either, Joanne. Just be grateful that there are plenty of us who aren't that way.

Some people are just selfish, but with time, they learn to give.

Some folks are just getting more cynically as time goes on, maybe they are working long hours to try and keep their heads above water, but others are living a lifestyle that is unnecessary and are feeling pressurize with bills etc

There is actualy a technical term for it, i of course forgot the word but its a german word. It refers to some natural reflex action in the brain to take pleasure in others faults, i think it has somthing to do with the mating ritual and seeing the compatition fail.
Most real people can supress this ugliness, and have compasion.

No need to get upset about this (at least not too much).. Let's consider the source of that comment you're referring to.

This young lady's profile doesn't match her story. She's only 20 years old so it's very doubtful she makes $250K unless she's one of those real brainiacs. Based on the way she writes, I think it's safe to say she isn't. Her profile also reflects she has no children yet she has a daughter in the forums.

Sometimes vetting the source of such comments is really revealing. Hopefully that takes at least some of the sting out of her comment. Sounds like she's doing nothing more than repeating a lot of stuff she really doesn't understand.

Well... McCain didn't win and though I am disappointed, I think we would all be better off if people get on with it. If we don't like what happens we can change in 4 years. No use sabotaging the guy before he ever has a chance.

Because they lost their soul and don't have a heart anymore, really sad ugly and they are the one's that complain more that anything else.
