If you want children and you are sure and your partner don't, it would be your choice to move on.

If I wanted to and she didn't, ever, then no. Some things aren't negotiable unfortunately.

Love is something you give, not take. It implies mutual adoration and respect for all aspects of the life you both seek to share. Loving someone for some future vision is fraudulent and controlling in ways that preclude Love in a most disastrous way.
Personally when my heart is given it is for better or worse, through thick and thin. My wants are important but not to the point of excluding those of my significant other in any way.
I would marry the woman to whom I have given my heart regardless of what obstacles may or may not be perceived in said future. I Love her as she is, all of her past, all of her present, and whatever lies in the future. No regrets just emphasis on the us and whatever that brings.

Okay, Mark...I don't mean to be cruel here...but how is that worked out for you so far? Just recalling your personal relationship tragedies, they seem closely related to not looking into the future and the view that "I would marry the woman to whom I've given my heart regardless of what obstacles may or may not be perceived"?

Aren't there some obstacles which it is wise to perceive and to acknowledge they may in fact prove "disastrous"? I think it's a prescription for disaster to ignore obstacles and warning signs myself.hug wave

Quote/you want to get married, but your partner don't wan children/quote

Well before we were married I would most likely sit down with them and inquire of why they don't want any children.

They may have some medical condtition of why they don't want any children or else they just plain don't want any.

If my love was strong enough for this person I would go ahead and marry them anyway. Cause there shouldn't be any obstacles that two people who are really & truly in love can't/couldn't overcome.

No cruelty received my friend. I have not been married and could never have married either of those women as there was something missing. Hindsight once again proved accurate of course but not in time to alleviate what eventually occurred.
Warning signs are imperative to success but I cannot help but hold onto faith that personal growth can overcome these. Once the proof is in the pudding of course the result leaves little option but to turn away or lose one's self completely.
The difficulty lies in seeing templates from one's own past and applying them needlessly to the current situation.
There must be depth of communication to propel one to entertain such an option. I would never get married without being as sure as is reasonable, as to me it is the ultimate responsibility to one's self and equally to any chosen other.
Perception of obstacles is much more different that the actuality in my mind and such a focus ensures solitary confinement.hug

Your words, girl, not mine.

According to your statement, love can overcome anything. Anything would everything.
