While dating someone ages ago, he began to doubt that I was really interested in him, and questioned out loud if I really were interested in him. That doubt he had led me later to end the relationship. I am asking you if you as an adult male ever questioned while dating, why you, and did this questioning prevented you from pursuing the lady.

I was confused. Now I think I see something here and I may be wrong BUT
If psychotic questions *why me, etc * came at me after I had met and dated a woman more than a few times, I would say she was too far into amateur psychology, self- analysis and/or, had paranoiod and Narcissistic tendencies, leaning toward full NPD.

People question things not necessarily because of any of these things you suggest but because they have self doubt. He may not have felt that he really deserve to be with her.

Yep. Was with a really really attractive girl a while back and couldn't believe that I had bagged her (no self confidence, but shh don't tell anyone lol). Made the mistake of asking her quite often and think it pushed her away in the end..

I understand Seabuscuit, because I have been there. It's not the best of situation to be in, because when the relationship broke it was narrowed down to the other person's self doubt.

Exactly why it didn't go any further with that girl.. My self doubt killed it.

When I am in love with a guy I never once doubt his love for me. The doubt comes about when he start questioning my feelings for him, then I am out of there....gone for good.
