The two I remember most is 1) A man kept e-mailing me w/o a picture.
I told him that without a picture and the fact that he was a smoker and that we had nothing in common made me feel that there was no reason for him to drive so far away from home to meet me. I felt that we would have nothing in common.
He wrote for over six months. I should have blocked him, but felt he was not a threat. He finally talked me into meeting him at a McDonalds...Should have been the first sign! I met him and he was dirty and had yellowed fingers from smoking and very yellow wrotten teeth. Ok, you can overlook these things, and I am being overly nice here. I ordered and paid for my own coffee, which was fine, because I wanted nothing to do w/him. One thing I could not over look was the smell! He was emitting the most awful smell! I sat over at the next table and could still smell him
The kicker was he was not there to meet me, but he had published a book and since I write he thought I could get it published ! I laughed!
I looked at it and it was as if someone wrote down random thoughts and called it a book. I gave him my honest opinion, that it was not something I would consider reading and that he would have to find his own connections as I have had to do.
HE got really angry wondering why I could not help him. I told him I was not obligated to help him or anyone and that I live in my world and I suggest he live in his and not try to cross over into mine anymore as I had told him multiple times in the past that I was not interested!
I left and blocked him. Several months later he came back to the site, not this one, with a new name and no picture. He sent me an e-mail saying that my world must be small and lonely, again I laughed...and blocked him!
