lavender84: Do you believe in pills to loose weight? (those with just herbs inside not weird stuff)... obviously with a diet ...
I have the greatest diet ever devised by man....
Dieting and exercise.
I have lost over 100 lbs in my life on 3 separate occasions with this method. It does really work, but I seem to get off track and gain the weight again.
I now know it is a lifestyle, not a weight loss program.
So any diet pill, diet book, anything that will cost you money, I am against. Simplicity is usually the best and correct way to go.
crotalus_p: It depends on the pill , some as long as they are combined with a healthy diet and exercise can work
yeeee i agree at least they help to feel less need to eat ... in the past i tried some herbs drops to mix with 2 litres of water and it helped me a lot... now i am trying pills plus diet and i hope they are going to work soon... i started today....

Agreed, Ken. That's the way to do it. It doesn't always produce the fastest results, but it does work best over time because the results stay as long as you stick with it...lifestyle changes is the best way.

All you really need is exercise and a balanced diet to lose wieght, altho there are pills which decrease your appetite or speed up your metabolism they are often expensive and not worth it really. Try this instead, When you wake up just walk around for 30 mins max, then eat breakfast high in protien as it will make you feel fuller for longer, try to eat 4-6 small meals a day to keep your body used to working at calorie burning. try to exercise 3 times a week at least and you will lose wieght.

laura225: So, RobbieM, you believe in diet alone - no pills?
Ah well, i'm the right person to ask....as i can be your personal trainer, well lets put it like this....i can tell you what to do to loose weight and be healthy and loose weight in 6 weeks.
It works a treat....the Military do it all day...its called running!
Failing that, the rules are pretty simple, eat less excersise more.....and the differential will kick start your metabolism into working and you'll burn even more calories.
So eat fruit veg and smaller amounts, cut out the bread and fat and the weight will fall off...but the key for people who don't like or are not used to excersise is to find something they do like doing, like cycling, horse riding, any sport and tailor it to your specific tastes.
Walking is the best gentle excersise, then progress to cycling, swimming and then god forbid running.
