Yelp Help with ie7 beta/ or is it this site???? (17)
omurchu22: I down loaded internet explorer 7/8 beta earlier today and then had to google to see how to delete it for my xp pc....
When i veiw some pages on the site here tonight i cant see all the answers/replies ..i can see peoples profiles and a blank box and then the person below them may or maynot have a comment i can read....
any ideas

Did earlier... and ive got it back to something like iex7 but theres problems sometimes deleting accidentle words....
Even just read back on some threads back in the irish forums and can see blank posts beside peoples threads
im going to say the wrong thing if i cant read all the posts
...nothing new i suppose, but any ideas let me knowby the way its nearly impossible to delete the beta update on explorer if you download it so hopefully my mistake will be someones gain

Go into your explorer and over to manage add-ons...I think you can activate them from there...but don't quote me...I have been using firefox for too long....

Try roll it back in ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS in Control Panel if it is in there.Might have to put a Checkmark in the little Square that says Updates,to make sure everything shows.
I am assuming you're running Windows O/S.
If that doesn't work check with the Guys here:
They're good.
Or Download and install FIREFOX!

have you got a prog like cr*p cleaner which will get rid of all traces? and possibly a further restore if its not gonna lose you stuff.......
another cleaner prog i use is called WinASO, is freeware and alothough the free one only cleans 10 probs at a time its well worth persevering or getting the licence as it really sweetens the running up....
oh, and I always get rid of cookies too - a process of elimination - fraid I cant help more than this....... good luck

Thanks .it took me 4 times to check back until i actually saw text written from you.im downloading firefox now...please God it will take my favourites which are stored on explorer

If i were you i wouldn't use IE7, and download Mozilla Firefox, its updated faster, is more secure and the backdoors are not given to all the hackers the world over.

easier fix...
go to add remove programs.. tell it to uninstall internet explorer.. it will automatically go back to the previous version.
or might try first..
open a browser...(explorer) tools, windows update.. this will makw sure that all components installed........
make sure automatic updates is turned on.
also.. always make sure all programs are shut down before installing anything.. if not it will cause conflicts.
(including outlook, popup stopper, firewall, spyware programs and so on)
