Do you ever change plans that you have made to accommodate
others? I had plans today to just have a Linda day so to speak.
Just got a phone call from my son that his ex will not bring the
kids clear home today and will I please go pick them up. Mind you
these are my grand-kids, teenagers, and I love them to pieces so
of course I will go get them. Just have had a lot going on the past 3
months and thought I would have one more trip day for myself
before the snow starts flying. Oh well, guess spring will arrive
eventually.roll eyes As they say, " The best layed plans of mice
and men sometimes go astray," or something like that.laugh
Just thought I would see if any of you out there in cyber- land
have put aside your plans for others?dunno

I always make sure there are clean pillow cases available so the woman I bring home tonight won't have to lay her head on the pillow case of my last conquest!!banana

I don't mind skirting my plans to take a bit of a detour...but change them...no unless it's something to do with my kids that needs to be done...or they have scheduled for school or something that I want to attend that comes up out of the blue...or a matter of life and death..other than that...no.....wave wink hug teddybear hug hug bouquet

Ship you are too modest. I know what you are doing to help
a friend. That goes beyond accommodation. People with
that type of friendship need to grasp it, care for it, never let
it go, because it is extremely rare.

I do it too often.

I usually don't mind accommodating family members' needs.
But otherwise - if you don't keep your priorities straight, there are always people around who don't see anything wrong with taking advantage, overstepping boundaries and stuff like that... If you let them that is.
