shi_06panama city, Florida USA3 Threads 65 PostsI am so excited!!! Today is my 21st birthday and it turned out to be much more than i ever expected. My boyfriend totally shocked and surprised me when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course i said yes. The funny thing is i can remember sitting in front of my computer for hours talking to him on a dating website. We eventally moved our conversation to the phone. Before i knew it i was living with him, now two years later we are still just as much in love as we were then. Yes we met on a dating website, the funny thing is that it wasnt this one but we are both a member of this one, and the other one. Never knew we were on this one together till we started talking about it. I just want all you people out there looking for that special someone to remember to never give up!! i thought the whole internet dating scene was stupid and dangerous, and here i am with the best man in the world, and engaged by someone i met online!!!!

Testosticross: You shouldn't get married until 30, maybe 40. I'm just looking out for your best interests. There is plenty of time, as most people live to 80 or more. If you wait until, say..62, you could pool your social security checks. Of course, you would get more $ if you waited until the full retirement age of 65. Don't listen to the Aussies and Canucks. They don't get social security.
Well almost true...those of us who own farms are left to do it the hard way. But ironically you can have a $1 million dollar house on 5 acres and get all the social security benefits you want.
Still, I love happy endings....and I hope all goes well for them
