SeriouslyFun: Let's say you meet a guy online, send some emails, talk on the phone and then set a date.
Near the end of the conversation, the guy tells you that he has flown 3/4's of the way across the country to spend time with someone he is quite taken with, but would never move there.
Further, he tells you that the woman and he have an understanding that they both can date and it will end between them once one of them finds a partner that is closer by.
The question is.... would you date this guy?
Yes I would, my thinking is at the back of his mind he knows that the woman who lives afar is an interest only, he's not willing to move to her or vice versa, to have an understanding to date other people, is not committing to eachother.
Therefore, I feel that he's still looking for that someone and it may be mutual. There's interest there after talking online and on the phone.
