If this post is directed at me - I've never worn " the grey confederate." I'm from Kansas (hence the name "The Kansan") and we were on BOTH sides during the U.S. Civil war, hence the nickname "Bloody Kansas."

I do indeed hunt and if Mr. Obama has his way I'm sure that will come to a rather screeching halt, despite the lies he told several sportman's magazines during his presidential race.

My life IS good, but I rather think it's a case of making lemonade out of life's lemons and the love of a good woman and the freedom to make the choices I deem necessary to continue my current lifestyle.

Speaking of which, I have no need to defend myself/my lifestyle from anything/anyone. If someone else doesn't care for the way I live they are more than welcome to look the other way or jump in front of a train - Whichever would best suit them. If, on the other hand, someone tries to infringe upon my rights to live the lifestyle I choose, then I'm afraid it's going to be "Katie, bar the door!" and devil take the hindmost!

Did that help explain my position?

Actually, I DO vote. But not for something that I believe will ultimately be detrimental to the lifestyle/freedoms I've come to cherish.

For all of Obama saying he's going to make change, I don't think Daschle is the best pick for that. Or the rest of the Clinton insiders he's bringing on board.

doh

Change, eh? I'll believe that when the Pharma companies are thrown out of DC for good, and not until. You want socialized healthcare, smack Eli Lilly where it hurts, in their lobby...thumbs up

My apologies Starlin - Better run for the hills because I agree, yet again, with your initial post. That's why I posted the two emoticons in my initial post, not because of my personal feelings towards Mr. Obama.

Shucks! never knew I was a "hater." moping
