Well I think its all a very good thing ....... not so many new machines being made. Where do all the old cars go when they die? ..... to make room for the thousands being manufactured every new day...?

if they were ex parlament members in Malta they would have gotten 6 months wages for compensation of loosing their jobs, while you, me and any other person on the island have 6 months govt. benefits... approx €13 a day!! fair isn't it!!!!

There was a very good 18 page report on the world car industry in the Economist a couple of weeks ago............. even the head of Renault/Nissan said that the only way forward was totally electric cars - 800 of every 1,000 Americans of driving age own a car, 600 per 1,000 western europeans, can't remember how many Chinese but less than 3 per 1,000 Indians.......... by the time they get to anything like the 500 per 1,000 point I think I'll get an electric bicycle and join the queue going round and round in ever decreasing circles in my little village!

I think smoky designed and 'built' a reinforced dayglow gussett that took Switzerland by storm...... naturally Swiss bankers kept them 'under wraps' (wearing them secretly made them smile even more when taking deposits from nice African dictators etc).
Unfortunately they were banned after some idiot wore one OUTSIDE his ski suit and caused an avalanche in which three people and 26 very productive Swiss cows were killed - the people were tourists and didn't count for much, but the cows were not insured properly against 'avalanches caused by the wearing of dayglow gussetts' and the company refused to pay out on the basis that it was an 'Act of God'.
All very sad - smoky would have been extremely rich by now if only............
Gonna be NO Farming or Anything without some Manufacturing,even if only the Village Blacksmith does it.
