Thanks Everyone. Now you know why I have not been on line much.

I am a very content happy woman. My kids like him and that really helps.

His name is Brian, and some one suggested we meet. I said OK but via emails first. (Wanted to see all the red flags first ... and then not meet him.)
As hard as I looked, there were no red flags. (example, controlling, views on women, controlling, or negative.)

We met, and things just took off from there. After Brian's mother met me, she phoned everyone, and told them about us. According to his family, they finally understood why Brian was happier and there was something different.
His family think my boys are great and include them in every family function they have.

I found someone that has patience and that is something I need. He makes me laugh. To top it off, he likes to cook. grin

He may not be prince charming, or a knight in shining armor, but he just right for me.

This confirmed bachelor and I took a trip in his semi up to Whitehorse. The truck had a break down in the middle of no where. If you want to test a relationship, a week, in that small space and come out still smiling, talking and enjoying each others company, you have a good idea of how things will go.

Oh, and add in the dog, Brian loves dogs, so my dog came a long for the trip.

What is even funnier is, we were both on some of the same date sites and were never set up as a match. rolling on the floor laughing

From this very happy lady, Thank you!

cheering Wowsers Kim! I am so happy that you aren't pissed - I just could not keep my mouth shut anymore!!! And, now, "B" is Brian - that feels better - felt like I was referring to an alien or imaginary man!!!

When you talk about the trip - It is so true. My parents did long hauls throughout North America with a major company. It was brutal, they fought every waking moment I am sure. Seriously, I remember when my mom called from Tennessee, first to find out about her newborn grandson and to tell me that she would be seeking a divorce lawyer as soon as they got back home. This happened more than once!!! And they had been married for a long time. They are not trucking any more and yes, they are still together!! laugh

If all goes well on the homefront and the planets continue to align correctly (joking), I will be up there for 2 weeks. You should make another trip, so we can have lunch! wine And you can help me figure out the logistics of moving a household 1700 miles wink I will email you in a few

Merry Magical Christmas Kim and Brian - this one will be unique and never repeatable - relish it and revel in it all - because it has been given to you....santa waving for a very special reason gift :heartwings:
