yeah i know,specsavers had hearing aids on offer last week at 99 euro dollars each.
Thought i might get some for later years.

yer right again mate, cor what did they put in the cisk last night, 2 out of 2 correct an its not even 0830 yet.
I'm waiting for Specsavers to not only branch out into hearing aids but dentistry and psychiatry at the same time - could come out with gleaming new teeth

Well, my only problem with this is in that a reduction of pressure would draw the eardrum IN, not out.
The middle ear bones lay directly behind the drum. This means the drum had to be blown out by a build up of force in the mouth(like blowing a trumpet).
If the ear drum were to be sucked into the ear canal, not only would the membrane be torn from the channel, but the bones would be dislodged as well. That would not be temporary damage.

If they were horsing around & kissing too hard, it wouldn't seem to bizarre, but the damage described is completely loony. I mean, who blows up their date once they talk back?
