I am starting to believe that I may become the official scam magnet here at CS! Indeed, scamming is a serious problem all over the internet and I've ran into my share of them through the years. While I can avoid them, I figure I might as well have a little fun with them at times. So these are my stories and I'm stickin' to 'em... or is it, I stuck it to 'em. You decide.
Not too long ago, I wrote a site mail to a woman letting her know I was interested and wanted to get to know her better. She replied and since then, we've exchanged several emails and I found out she was actually living in another country and that was not a problem. Everything seemed to be going fine until one day she decided to drop the bomb on me. She claimed she had a lot of money and needed my help to get her assets to safety. All I had to do was pay the shipping costs to have her sealed and coded cargo containing all her assets delivered to me, right to my doorstep. Once I received her cargo, she would email me the codes to unlock it, have me take out enough money and send to her so she could book a flight and join up with me...we would start a new life together with all her money. Oh, what a dreamy plan, I thought!
So, I replied to her and said it would be better if she wired enough money to me to cover the shipping cost, in which I would wire back to her shipping company. And while she was at it, to take out enough money to cover her flight as well. This way, her cargo would be safe and she could come here and unlock it herself! She has yet to reply back to me...oh, the pity of it all.
This next one is a killer classic...
I received a site mail from a young and beautiful woman who sounded very interested in me. She had liked what I stated in my profile, but I believe it was my profile picture that really hooked her. It tends to have that effect on some women, don't ya think? Anyway, we had been exchanging emails daily for several weeks, and I found out that she was also in another country and not where her profile had originally claimed. Still, not a problem. Normally, she would send me different pictures of her and sometimes of her family in each of her emails. I mean, my hard drive now has a complete photo album of this woman and her family! The sad part is that she has no picture of me yet. Nope, nadda one. Our cyber relationship had grown to the point where we were ready to advance to the next level...she is now wanting to come visit me and has a two week vacation coming from her work. All great plans have been carefully made but now she has run into a wee bit of a snag... She doesn't have enough money to cover her round-trip fare! So, she asks me if I would be willing to help her out and send her the money. Being the gentleman that I am, I replied stating that I would help her all I can.
I told her to go ahead a book a one-way flight to me instead, and I would cover her flight back home when her two weeks had ended. Once again, I await a long overdo reply. And here to think she claimed she would love me forever. Well, I guess to her, forever lasts for just a little while. I can't bear the pain!

Yep, they are everywhere and they come in a variety of story packages. I don't let them bother me and I NEVER send out money... Although the next one that wants to flood my hard drive with tons of pic's, asking for money, I may just send them a pic of my wallet and tell them to take as much as they need.
anyone onliune that devises a letter that says for me "riches with no effort"...I'm reporting. the mere thougytt that someone anyone could possible give me any amount of money from another country..its absurd!!
However if you're as stupid as the person who accepted and made change for a 200.00 American Bill.... not only should you be fired but you should pay the shortage in your shifts till....
Final answer...
if your'e that greedy.... welcome to the lesson...you'll not soon forget. nothing worth anything is that easy.
I guess that pertains also to those that within a week/month of being online searching for a mate should make a rule of also... true love was/is and always be NEVER EASY. with out trail and tribulations what real foundation can love have?
rasgumby: I seem to be adored by the Chinese and Filipino's..I have become the dirty harry of hitting the delete button!
Do you feel lucky punk
I must feel lucky. So far all they've done is look at my profile...maybe they're planning to gang up on me! Nahh, get that vision of a scammerette harem out of your head!

They've never tried that 'my family is sick and i need money', with me. Perhaps it's because i look poor-ish!
When I use my photo with the white hat and the letters "USA" on it I received 3 to 5 wonderful offers to meet beautiful woman from almost every country in the world everyday. All of them usually around 30 years old and their profiles are almost blank everytime. Mmmmm. Another sincere offer to meet my mate maybe!
You should see these scammers, who work their charm to these men's lives. They get married and have kids together.
I know some, and no, i don't approve. They tell me it's all about the papers, but hey, i think the men know it too. They aren't exactly mentally challenged.
Imagine this, a 60 yr old man, with a 20yr old girl.
